The way in which the artist has used found objects and materials to become a visual metaphor to the people they portray is very successful, even though by sight they resemble vases, they are still far away from being garden decorations. There's a strong link with the work produced from working in care homes, how they bring out the resiedents inner feelings and personalities; using found objects and materials to become as visual metaphor to the people is an idea to take forward.
